When Gouldings opened the doors to their brand new River View space in the Clyde Valley, the anthracite grey UPVC glass frontage that greeted visitors was fully manufactured and installed by us — Clyde Windows & Construction. It’s a project we’re particularly proud of, not just because of the result, but because of what it represents: over 15 years of working together across multiple sites and even a family home.
River View at Gouldings — The Latest Chapter
River View is Gouldings’ newest addition — a garden centre with a plant area, homegrown plants, and a brand new 100-seat restaurant. It’s an impressive space, and the anthracite grey UPVC glass frontage sets the tone from the moment you arrive.
The finish was recommended by our surveyor after assessing the site. Anthracite grey has become one of our most popular choices for commercial frontages — it reads as modern and considered without being difficult to maintain, and it photographs well against almost any backdrop. Against the natural setting of River View, we think it looks absolutely brilliant.
Every element of the frontage was manufactured in-house and installed by our own team. We don’t subcontract the fabrication — it comes out of our own facility, which means we control quality at every stage.
