On Friday the 21st of August we were announced as Best Window and Conservatory company at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2015, the awards ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Glasgow with special guests Dez Clarke from Capital fm and also John Amabile of Scotlands sixty minute makeover who was the ambassador for the whole event. Managing director Dax Duckett and colleagues were delighted to receive the award showing the public the hard work which is put in by all staff at Clyde.
This prestigious competition started with over 35 Double Glazing firms nominated for this prestigious award, the 35 entrants from many firms large and small covering all areas of Scotland were then whittled down to five finalists prior to the night and then the winners were then chosen by votes from social media, comments and reports from a number of clients from each firm and statements put forward by each firm about their own business and their policies in regards to customer care, employee work ethic, standard of workmanship and product quality to ensure their clientele are satisfied with the finished project every time. We also believe that consideration into other accolades such as "WHICH" "TRUSTED TRADER" status and Trading Standards approval was also taken into account in this strong category as this was the most entered category at the awards.
The Argyll Suite at Glasgows Crowne Plaza hotel beautifully arranged for the night.
Host for the night was Scotland's own interior designer John Amabile from ITV "Sixty Minute Makeover" John hosted the awards and was also involved in the judging process for this event.
